NEW YORK NEW YORK!
Well we made it to NY and had a fabulous but exhausting time. We walked our socks off all week and managed to see all the famous sights. We saw a show on Broadway, took a yellow cab, rode on the subways, ate from deli's, street sellers and all night diners, and chatted to NY cops and complete strangers. We walked in Central Park, went to the Guggenheim, crossed the river on the Statton Island ferry (it was free!!!) We climbed the Empire State Building, (in the lift), visited the fabulous art deco Chrysler Building, Times Square, Maddison Square Gardens and Radio City. Whilst walking in Chinatown we came upon an Italian street festival. Shopping in Macys and Bloomingdales was fun and so were the many other shops we found, but for me the 3 hours I spent wandering in the fabric district was just mind blowing and I'd go again just for that!
Seeing Ground Zero and the little church was very poignant and we spent a long time just reading many of the strories and letters from around the world. The photos are just a few from the hundreds we took, I thought I'd include the one of a rather ambitious menu we saw in a back street cafe, (we didn't try it!)
I know Mark has been reporting on Joes Pub, so suffice to say that while he got his photos of Pete, I got a KISS from him ......

I am glad to hear you enjoyed New York so much. You were at Joe's Pub??? Me too, they needed a meet and greet for the bloggers/boarders in the house with name tags included, it was awemsome wasn't it? I hope you love the Hollywood Bowl as much, thanks for checking in!

I found you via Anne Marie's blog and since I was takin a peek, just thought I'd say hi too instead of just lurking in the background. I've never been to NYC but it's on my "destination list". Nice you got to see the Joe's Pub gig.

Hi Jilly,
That trip sounds like it was really fun! I also have New York City on my destination list.
If I do ever make it to any Who show and a meet & greet, I'm going to have my blogger name on a name tag so you guys can find me.
Thanks for dropping by, it's good to hear from you, I've been busy with college, so I try to visit you guys whenever I have free time.
Take care.

Hi Jilly,
I read that you are coming to Canada before going off to LA. Where are you going in this fine land of ours?

Hi Jilly,
It takes as long for me to fly to Vancouver as it would to London, England- isn't that wild? Alas, I will not be anywhere in the vicinity, and will await the Who in early December.
I hope you have a wonderful time together on the west coast. Enjoy the scenery, the Who shows, and hanging out with the other great bloggers. Give my regards to Mark.

I am so happy that you are hanging in on my blog and keeping up with my day to day. I really appreciate it. No I won't be making it to the West Coast for any shows this time around, there are too many right in my backyard to pay for,I honestly can't afford both! I can't believe we were in the same room at Joe's Pub and didn't meet. They needed to set up a meet and greet for all the fans before the show, with name tags included!

Hi Jill, I can't get through to Mark on his cell. Wanted to check with you on Attic Jam tickets. They will be doing a show in LA on 11/7. Wondered if you were going to go. Please give me a shout by email. I haven't bought tickets yet (we are trying to figure out if it is sold out already.)
Thanks
